Programme and ticket of anniversary reunion match.

(Oct 11, 2015) Phil Brough said:

Liverpool lost the Final to Dortmund at Hampden on another wet night, not too many went, I don't think the Red's supporters had the stomach for another trip to Glasgow. A few of us spent the night playing poker at a mate's in Woolton with the match on the radio.

The following Tuesday evening Liverpool drew 1:1 with Nottingham Forest at the City Ground in their last league match of the season. Gordon Milne opened the scoring for Liverpool in the second half. Ian Storey-Moore replied for Forest. Liverpool had become the First Division Champions the Saturday before the ECWC Final. They finished the season on 61 points; 6 points ahead of 2nd placed Burnley. In the FA Cup, Liverpool were eliminated in the 3rd round losing 2:1 to Chelsea at Anfield. They did not participate in the League Cup. In August, Liverpool had drawn 2:2 with Manchester United at Old Trafford in the Charity Shield. Both clubs shared the trophy for 6 months.
