The original is slightly larger than the reproduction measuring 212 mm x 138 mm while the reproduction is 202 mm x 135 mm. The original is also on a glossier paper than the reproduction and the photos are clearer.

The following Saturday Liverpool won their opening league match 3:2 against Arsenal at Anfield. Goals from Roger Hunt and Gordon Wallace gave Liverpool a two goal lead. Arsenal replied with goals from Geoff Strong and Joe Baker midway through the second half. Gordon Wallace scored a late winner with his second goal of the match. The first edition of BBC's Match of the Day featured the match.
