Five days later, on December the 26th, Liverpool won 4:0 against second placed Leicester City at the Leicester City stadium. The match had an 8:00 PM kick-off time. Leicester were managed by ex-Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers. Roberto Firmino gave Liverpool a half time lead. James Milner doubled Liverpool’s advantage a minute after coming on as substitute. A second goal from Firmino and another from Trent Alexander-Arnold gave Liverpool a comfortable victory and continued their unbeaten run in the league.
