On the following Monday Liverpool won 3:2 against West Ham United at Anfield. The match had an 8:00 PM kick-off time. Georginio Wijnaldum gave Liverpool an early lead. Issa Diop equalised soon after. Pablo Fornals gave the visitors the lead early in the second half. Mohamed Salah equalised midway through the half before Sadio Mane secured all three points. The victory - Liverpool’s 18th league win in a row - left them on 79 points after 27 matches; 22 points ahead of second placed Manchester City.
