The following Sunday Liverpool won 2:1 against Bournemouth at Dean Court. The match had a 1:30 PM kick-off time. Both Liverpool goals came just before half time from Roberto Firmino and Daniel Sturridge. Joshua King scored a consolation goal for the home side in the last minute. Goalkeeper Danny Ward made his Liverpool debut. The result left Liverpool in 8th place in the Premier League table on 51 points after 32 matches.
