	Liverpool 1 - 3 Sevilla

Liverpool finished the season in 8th position in the Premier League on 60 points; 21 points behind champions Leicester City and 6 points off a Champions League qualification place. The defeat in the Europa League Final meant there would be no European football in the following season. Liverpool also lost the League Cup Final to Manchester City 3-1 on penalties after the match had finished 1-1 at Wembley. In the FA Cup Liverpool lost 2-1 in a 4th round replay to West Ham United at Upton Park after a 0-0 draw at Anfield. This was the last time Liverpool played at the stadium.
